'Uncle Sam' poster

This is a recruitment poster from times of World War I, made by James Montgomery. The man on the poster is a personification of US, a symbolic image of the country. This poster was very famous, the Americans used it during World War II as well and it also inspired artists in other countries (the most famous Soviet poster from Civil War and WWII were based upon 'Uncle Sam').
